This antique Cuckoo Clock with music and moving wooden figures as dancers was rebuilt from a German Cuckoo Clock from 1870. This filigree cuckoo and music clock has very pretty sawing and is designed in three colors. The cuckoo and music clock Romba 4501 is made of solid wood, carved and a mechanical 8- day- movement is handmade in the Black Forest in Germany.
German Melodies of the Music Clock: "Der fröhliche Wanderer" and "Edelweiss".

Please note that the weights and pendulum below the clock need more room.
When the cuckoo calls, no one has lost time. But feels like home, in this toasty warm tone. The cuckoo calls every half hour once, on the hour the time (i.e.6 times at 6:00 clock).

Cuckoo Clock with original mechanical movement
Mechanical movement means that the cuckoo clock is driven with the weight integrated on the pine cones. A weight is responsible for the clock movement, the other is for the cuckoo. There are no batteries required, the clock is their own power plant and works alone with the force of the weights. If they are reached the bottom, they must be manually pulled up again, which happens easily and is necessary only once a day, at the 8-day-movement even just once a week. A nice ritual while contributing to environmental protection.
