Hand-painted and hand-made shields clock, as they are known worldwide since the 18th century. The shield and the clock cases are made of solid wood. The antique style wall clock creates a special atmosphere in every room. This Black Forest shield clock (sometimes also called "Schottenuhr", after the inventor of "Schottenhof " in Neustadt, Black Forest) is lovingly hand-painted in fine work by Conny Haas, a famous Black Forest shield clock-painter. The subject is a historic flowers ensemble.

When the cuckoo calls, no one has lost time. But feels like home, in this toasty warm tone. The cuckoo calls every half hour once, on the hour the time (i.e. 4 times at 4:00 clock).

Cuckoo Clock with original mechanical movement
Mechanical movement means that the cuckoo clock is driven with the weight integrated on the pine cones. A weight is responsible for the clock movement, the other is for the cuckoo. There are no batteries required, the clock is their own power plant and works alone with the force of the weights. If they are reached the bottom, they must be manually pulled up again, which happens easily and is necessary only once a day, at the 8-day-movement even just once a week. A nice ritual while contributing to environmental protection.
